What We Provide

Support Beyond
the Clinic.

Seven wraparound services designed to surround individuals in recovery with everything they need to focus completely on healing β€” not survival.

"Having a safe home changed everything. For the first time in years, I could focus on getting better β€” not just surviving." β€” Hope & Chance resident

Service 01Recovery Housing

Unstable housing is one of the most powerful predictors of relapse. When someone doesn't know where they'll sleep, treatment becomes secondary to survival β€” and recovery slips away.

Our recovery homes are safe, sober, structured living environments that provide the stability every person needs to engage fully in treatment. More than a bed β€” they are communities of accountability, connection, and mutual support.

  • Safe, substance-free living environments
  • Structured daily schedules and expectations
  • On-call Recovery Empowerment Specialists
  • Community meals, meetings, and shared activities
  • Coordination with clinical treatment teams
  • Pathways toward independent, stable living

Service 02Transportation Support

Missing a single treatment appointment can disrupt weeks of progress. For many people in recovery, transportation is an insurmountable barrier β€” no car, no money for rideshare, no reliable way to get there.

Hope and Chance provides reliable, compassionate transportation seven days a week β€” to treatment sessions, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinics, support meetings, court appointments, and more.

  • Transportation to New Era Mental Health appointments
  • MAT clinic rides β€” seven days a week
  • Support meeting and community event transportation
  • Court, employment, and service appointment rides
  • Provided by compassionate peer-supportive drivers
  • Flexible scheduling to meet treatment needs

"Every ride is a point of connection β€” not just logistics. Our drivers are part of the support system." β€” Hope & Chance staff

"My RES understood me in a way no clinician could. She'd been through it. That made all the difference." β€” Recovery client

Service 03Peer Mentorship β€” Recovery Empowerment Specialists

Our Recovery Empowerment Specialists bring something uniquely powerful: the lived knowledge of what recovery truly demands. Each RES is an individual who has navigated their own recovery journey and completed Washington State–certified peer support training.

They walk alongside clients as mentors, guides, and consistent human presences β€” showing up daily, holding accountability with compassion, and providing the kind of authentic connection that professional credentials alone cannot offer.

  • One-on-one peer mentorship and emotional support
  • Daily accountability check-ins
  • Crisis support and de-escalation
  • Life skills coaching and routine building
  • Community integration and social connection
  • Navigation of services and resources

"Wraparound support means no gap is left unfilled. We address every barrier standing between a person and their recovery."

"Community is medicine. The connections clients build here sustain their recovery long after they've moved on."

Service 05Community Support

Isolation is one of the most dangerous conditions for recovery. Without genuine community β€” without people who care, who show up, who hold you accountable and celebrate your progress β€” recovery is enormously difficult to sustain.

Hope and Chance cultivates authentic community within our housing environments and throughout our programs, creating a network of human connection that becomes one of the most powerful forces in our clients' recovery journeys.

  • Regular community gatherings and shared meals
  • Group accountability meetings and check-ins
  • Peer-led support groups and discussions
  • Recovery celebration and milestone recognition
  • Connection to AA, NA, and SMART Recovery meetings
  • Alumni network for long-term community connection

Service 06Life Stabilization Support

Early recovery is often chaotic. Legal consequences, financial instability, fractured relationships, uncertain employment, and practical life crises all compete for attention β€” making it nearly impossible to focus on treatment.

Our stabilization services address these practical life dimensions directly, creating the calm and order that allows treatment to work. We help clients not just survive their circumstances, but build the foundations of a new life.

  • Financial literacy and basic budgeting support
  • Document recovery (ID, Social Security, benefits)
  • Legal system navigation and court preparation
  • Family reunification and communication support
  • Transition planning from housing to independence
  • Long-term life goal setting and mentorship
Get Stabilization Support

"Stability isn't the end goal β€” it's the foundation that makes every other goal possible." β€” Dr. Mercy Wainaina

"Accountability, when it comes from a place of genuine care, doesn't feel like pressure β€” it feels like being believed in."

Service 07Accountability & Recovery Guidance

Recovery requires structure. Not the punitive, shame-based structure of punishment β€” but the kind of compassionate, consistent accountability that comes from people who genuinely care about your outcome and believe in your capacity to get there.

Our RES team provides daily, individualized accountability support β€” check-ins, goal tracking, honest conversations, and unwavering encouragement β€” designed to build the internal discipline that sustains recovery over time.

  • Daily and weekly individual check-in meetings
  • Recovery goal setting and progress tracking
  • Treatment attendance monitoring and encouragement
  • Relapse prevention planning and support
  • Honest, non-judgmental accountability conversations
  • Celebration of milestones and recovery progress
